The Inspirational Paul Gaugin

The French artist Paul Gaugin has always been a favourite of mine and millions of others. He devoted his time to glorifying the pristine harmony of Oceania's tropical nature and its people. I decided that this would be my inspiration for an images to adorn my poster art website.

Gaugin's works are still so evocative of the landscapes and native peoples of the tropics as if he had painted them yesterday.

Many of his works were reproduced as posters, prints, post cards and comics during and after his lifetime.
